What you’ll be doing
- Planning & coordinating works to ensure they are carried out compliantly
- Drive a safety-first approach across the department
- Cost control tracking, monitoring productivities & forecasting costs for end of month reviews
- Contract management across multiple packages
- Ability to identify variations/EOTs & prepare submission to clients
- Prepare subcontract packages & administer to fulfil site requirement
- Utilise programming software to develop & maintain programs in consultation with field operations
- Support tender submission with working knowledge of plant capability & civil productivities
About you
You’re a highly capable Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in civil infrastructure, particularly in asphalt and road surfacing works, who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
You will bring a balance of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership capability, with the confidence to manage multiple workstreams under a long-term maintenance contract.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, TMR experience advantageous
- Proven civil background with solid experience delivering road, pavement, or surfacing projects
- Hands-on understanding of bitumen reseals, rehabilitation works, & road maintenance techniques
- Strong commercial & contractual acumen
- Comfortable managing variations, EOTs, cost tracking, forecasting & subcontractor packages
- Thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
