Junior Estimator | Civil Subdivisions & Infrastructure

Are you currently working on-site as a Foreman, Supervisor, Site Engineer or Junior Estimator and looking to transition into a long term estimating career — without losing connection to real project delivery?

An established Queensland civil contractor is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their growing team delivering subdivision and land development projects across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

About the Company

Queensland based civil construction contractor specialises in subdivisions and land development infrastructure across SE QLD. Backed by nearly two decades of combined industry expertise, the business has grown steadily over the past six years — expanding from a small team to now a growing 40+.
You can expect to work on projects ranging from $500K - $5M/$8M. 

The company delivers tailored civil solutions including:

• Bulk earthworks
• Drainage
• Road construction
• Retaining walls
• Full subdivision infrastructure

About You

You enjoy working through scopes, understanding how projects are built, and contributing to practical, well-priced bids.

Your background may include:

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred) — or strong site-based experience
• 2–5+ years experience in civil estimating or tender preparation
• Understanding of construction methodologies, material costs and industry standards
• Ability to review drawings and complete take-offs
• Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office (desirable)
• Basic stormwater estimating knowledge highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within timelines
