Job Description

Project Manager – National Multi-Site Fitout Rollout

$100–$110 per hour + Super | 18-Month Contract | Brisbane (Hamilton) Based | National Travel

This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognised retail operator delivering a major multi-site rollout program across Australia.

With a strong national footprint and a reputation for operational excellence, this organisation is introducing a new in-store concept across more than 150 locations, with further expansion planned. To support this initiative, they are seeking experienced Project Managers to coordinate and deliver a high-volume fitout program across existing, new and flagship sites.

This role will suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing multiple concurrent sites, and wants exposure to a structured national rollout within a well-established brand.

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll sit within the Construction & Property function and take responsibility for coordinating a national multi-site fitout program.

Reporting to an experienced Construction Manager, you’ll manage site audits, scopes of work, tender processes, contractor coordination and program tracking — ensuring each installation is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

This is an 18-month contract position with potential longer-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Conduct site audits to assess compliance and installation requirements

  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and documentation

  • Manage tender processes, evaluate submissions and issue work orders

  • Develop and maintain project schedules across multiple concurrent sites

  • Coordinate contractors, site teams and internal stakeholders

  • Track budgets, milestones and progress reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records

Quality, Safety & Performance

  • Ensure all installations meet brand and quality standards

  • Promote strong safety leadership and zero-incident outcomes

  • Monitor costs and proactively manage budget performance

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

The Project

The rollout will be delivered in multiple formats, including:

  • Menu-layer upgrades within existing sites

  • Destination-style installations within flagship locations

  • Free-standing kiosk formats within shopping centres

Interstate travel will be required to support delivery across the national network.

About You

You are an organised, solutions-focused project professional who is comfortable managing multiple moving parts. You communicate confidently with contractors and stakeholders and remain calm under pressure.

You will demonstrate:

  • 2+ years’ experience in construction project management (fitout or multi-site programs highly regarded)

  • Strong scheduling, budgeting and coordination capability

  • Ability to read and interpret basic plans and take accurate site measurements

  • Solid computer skills (Excel, Word and project tracking tools)

  • Experience working in live operational environments (retail or hospitality advantageous)

  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Tertiary qualifications in Design, Construction or Project Management are desirable but not essential.

Why Consider This Role?

  • National, structured rollout program

  • Exposure to a well-established, large-scale retail network

  • Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment

  • Strong hourly rate with fortnightly pay

  • Opportunity to build multi-site delivery experience
