This is an opportunity to step into a key estimating role within a fast-growing civil construction business delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure projects across Australia.

The Opportunity
As an Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in preparing accurate, competitive tenders across a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects.
You’ll work closely with bid, project, procurement and operations teams to develop robust pricing, construction methodologies and winning submissions.
This role suits someone who enjoys first-principles estimating, problem solving complex scopes and contributing to tenders that genuinely shape how projects are delivered.
What You’ll Be Doing

Reviewing tender documentation and managing detailed quantity take-offs

Preparing cost estimates using Expert Estimation software

Developing construction methodologies, staging and buildability strategies

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

Identifying risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions

Participating in tender reviews and client negotiations

Supporting and mentoring junior estimators

Working with Construction Managers to validate assumptions and delivery approaches

Collaborating with Bid Managers to shape compelling, client-focused tenders
You’ll ideally bring:

A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar (preferred)

5+ years’ experience in civil estimating and tender preparation

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, costs and industry standards

A passion for first-principles estimating and accuracy

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office

A collaborative mindset with clear, confident communication skills
