Wastewater Infrastructure | Brisbane Southside | Immediate Start | Up to $80/hr + super

Looking for a hands-on, site-based role where you can make a real impact? Our client, a local government body, is seeking a Technical Officer for a 6 month contract working on wastewater infrastructure projects.

This is your chance to be out on site, taking ownership of works, checking that everything is delivered safely, to code, and exactly as per design plans. If you enjoy being practical, proactive, and seeing the results of your work, this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll get to do:

• Conduct inspections and hold/witness points (compaction, bedding, reinforcement, grouting)

• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements

• Verify construction works against design plans

• Act client-side to manage contractors and keep works on track

• Support risk management and smooth project delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on experience in wastewater or civil construction

• Confident reading and interpreting design drawings

• Knowledge of codes and standards with a sharp eye for compliance

• Experience in client-side supervision or project management support
