Works Inspectors

Our client, a leading transport asset owner has multiple building projects to complete over the next 5-9 years with the Olympic Games and growth due in Brisbane. The roles are available on a contract basis from 6 months to 2 years. They are to commence in January, March, and June. So even if you are not available now, please send your CV with your preferred start date in 2024.

Working on building projects over $100 million whilst the asset remains in full operation. The role will include.

• Regular inspection of building construction, demolition, pavements, and all building services.
• Ensure compliance across contract administration, design documentation and regulatory approvals
• Work effectively with the internal and tier one and sub-contractor Project Managers
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement in a positive and outcome manner
• Engaging and strong stance on safety and process

This position would suit anyone with 10 years plus in building construction with a trade or tertiary qualification. You will be managing the tier one contractor closely so previous experience working for a tier one would be helpful. This will be a maximum 40-hour week so would suit someone who wants a new focus in construction with a better work life balance. Some night work may be required but rates will reflect the inconvenience.

Reporting to the Project Directors you will enjoy autonomy and be a confident self-starter.
