“Good salary and benefits. They’re a good bunch of people to work with.”
What Sets This Role Apart
This is a hands-on opportunity to build delivery experience on an essential energy infrastructure project. With most works delivered by the contractor’s own workforce, you will take ownership of day-to-day engineering and influence how labour, plant and materials come together on site. Working from initial works towards practical completion, you will deepen your experience in sequencing, procurement, cost monitoring and quality assurance while strengthening your ability to resolve construction interfaces. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will gain end-to-end experience to draw on in your next career step and be able to point to a civil package you helped deliver from the ground up.
What’s In It For You
- Long-term growth opportunities locally & abroad
- Working across a diverse range of projects, with a strong pipeline of Government-Funded projects
- Flexibility and work life balance
- Reputation for Self-Performing Work
- You want a hands-on role with ownership and autonomy
What You’ll Do
Help turn drawings and plans into safely delivered civil works, supporting the package from mobilisation through construction, commissioning support and handover.
- Plan and coordinate self-performed civil works, aligning labour, plant, materials and subcontractors with programme targets while keeping safety and specifications central to delivery.
- Translate drawings and technical requirements into practical site support, coordinate stakeholder interfaces and resolve construction issues so work can progress efficiently.
- Support procurement and material supply, monitor productivity, costs and progress, and maintain QA records, ITPs and inspections through to Practical Completion.
About You
- Civil Engineering Degree or similar
- 4+ years’ experience as an engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Ability to interpret civil, structural and services drawings and raise and manage technical queries
- You understand construction scheduling, sequencing and quality control systems, and have an excellent safety record from previous projects to support safe, well-organised delivery
