Due to ongoing work with current and future pipeline of work across SEQ, they have engaged 4020 Consult to help them fill a key role for a Construction Manager to provide technical leadership, delivery oversight, and operational support across their asphalt, civil and rehabilitation delivery streams.

What You’ll Do

This role is focused on strengthening delivery performance across multiple work fronts by supporting engineers, supervisors and crews. You will help drive safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes while improving planning, accountability and team capability.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to engineers, supervisors and delivery crews.
  • Improve planning, sequencing, site execution and construction standards across delivery teams.
  • Support delivery teams to resolve constructability, quality and compliance issues.
  • Oversee field activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
  • Assist with staging, methodology, traffic management coordination and delivery planning.
  • Drive a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with TMR representatives and key stakeholders.

About You

You are a practical, get stuff done person, looking for a steady role without the intensity of hard dollar construction projects. You have:

  • Strong background in asphalt, rehabilitation, pavements, civils or road maintenance delivery.
  • Sound knowledge of TMR specifications and construction delivery requirements.
  • Proven experience mentoring engineers and frontline leaders.
  • Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence teams, improve performance and drive accountability.
  • Experience working in live traffic environments and complex delivery conditions.
