Supervisor – Building, Landscaping & Maintenance Works

Location

Various - SEQ travel required Gold Coast, Toowoomba and occasionally Hervey Bay

Salary

$100K – $115K + Super + Vehicle

The Role

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Supervisor to oversee a diverse pipeline of minor works projects across South East Queensland. This is a “get things done” role suited to someone who thrives in variety and enjoys being out on site managing multiple small projects.

Projects range from small bathroom fit-outs and renovations through to landscape construction and general maintenance works — no two weeks look the same.

Travel required across Gold Coast, Toowoomba and occasionally Hervey Bay.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend sites to scope upcoming works and gather detailed information for estimating
• Provide clear job details, quantities and requirements back to the estimating team
• Supervise works on site from start to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
• Manage quality control and site outcomes
• Problem-solve and keep jobs moving efficiently
• Maintain strong communication with clients, trades and internal teams

Ideal Supervisor

• Jack of all trades background across building, maintenance or landscaping
• Experience supervising minor works, renovations or construction projects
• Strong practical knowledge — understands how work actually gets built
• Confident managing subcontractors
• Organized and detail-oriented when scoping jobs
• Safety-focused with solid site awareness
• Self-starter who doesn’t need micromanagement
• Comfortable travelling across SEQ
