The company is a well-established civil and utility infrastructure contractor with over 20 years’ experience delivering complex water, sewer and civil projects. Their reputation is built on genuine care for clients, strong technical capability, and a people-first approach that prioritises safety, quality and professional development.

A large portion of their work is delivered for major water authorities, and their long standing relationships with Sunshine Coast Council they continue to secure significant long term projects across SEQ.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time position offering stability, career advancement and access to nationally recognised training. You will join an energetic, close-knit and professional team where your contribution will be valued and your impact will be visible. Reporting to the General Manager you’ll play a key role in planning, delivery, quality and stakeholder engagement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads with accountability, and brings strong water-sector experience.

You will have:

• Experience as a Project Engineer within the Water & Sewer sector
• Proven capability delivering water, sewer and STP projects on time and on budget
• Strong skills in project management, planning, scheduling and cost control
• Ability to interpret and manage complex technical designs
• Confident leadership and strong site coordination with supervisors and contractors
• Experience in estimating, tenders, and submissions
• Understanding of compliance requirements, codes, standards and specifications
• Tertiary qualification in engineering or related trade background
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
