Coordinate bids that help shape Australia’s next generation of major infrastructure.

This 9–12-month maternity leave contract offers flexibility across Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, with work-from-home options.
“Good people to work with and lots of opportunity to move sideways and upwards.”
What Sets This Role Apart
Make your coordination expertise count on bids with national significance. You will gain exposure to complex, large-scale opportunities across multiple sectors while working alongside engineers, planners and estimators. With ownership of bid coordination, documentation and deadlines, you will strengthen your ability to manage competing priorities, influence diverse stakeholders and produce compliant, high-quality submissions in a fast-paced Tier 1 environment.
What You’ll Do
You will keep major bids moving from tender review through submission, bringing structure, momentum and a practical “how are we going to win?” mindset to every stage.
- Coordinate compliant submissions: translate tender requirements, risks and timeframes into clear strategies, action plans and approval workflows.
- Keep people and priorities aligned: monitor milestones and deliverables while guiding engineers, planners, estimators and partners towards shared deadlines.
- Create control and clarity: maintain secure bid documentation, version control, reports, dashboards and data-room exchanges.
- Support winning outcomes: organise supplier and subcontractor packages, track responses and build productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
About You
- Relevant experience: 5+ years in bid coordination or a related role within an engineering or construction management environment.
- Strong systems capability: confident using SAP, Excel and other computer-based tools to manage information accurately.
- Composure under pressure: able to work independently, prioritise competing demands and follow through on complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A delivery-focused mindset: you enjoy coordinating time, tasks and people to produce a high-quality outcome on schedule; exposure to complex Australian project bids is preferred.
