We’re partnering with a highly regarded specialist infrastructure advisory firm to appoint a Principal – Infrastructure Advisory in Brisbane. This is an opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional to move into a role with genuine influence, direct access to respected industry leaders, and exposure to meaningful civil and social infrastructure work.

You’ll be trusted to bring your judgement to the table, work closely with senior decision-makers, and help shape infrastructure outcomes that communities rely on.

What You’ll Do

You’ll operate as a trusted advisor across the full infrastructure lifecycle, bringing structure, insight and confidence to clients navigating complex planning, investment and delivery decisions.

• Lead infrastructure advisory, planning and project delivery across government, education, private sector and asset owner clients.
• Develop clear, practical advice across business cases, concept planning, cost planning, procurement strategies and project management.
• Guide clients through complex infrastructure decisions by translating technical, commercial and stakeholder considerations into actionable recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships while identifying opportunities to support growth, expand services and deepen long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across planning, traffic, transport, engineering and program management to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Review designs, provide technical guidance and contribute to investment decisions that balance quality, practicality and future community needs.
• Mentor and support team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-integrity consulting culture.

About You

• You bring 8–10+ years’ experience across infrastructure planning, project management, engineering, advisory or a related consulting environment.
• You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, project management, urban development, urban design or a related discipline.
• You’re confident contributing to business cases, infrastructure planning, procurement, project delivery and strategic advisory work.
• You enjoy working with clients, asking the right questions, and turning complex issues into clear, practical advice.
• You’re a strong communicator and relationship-builder who can influence stakeholders and build trust at senior levels.
• You’re proactive, collaborative and commercially aware, with a commitment to quality, accountability and successful outcomes.
• You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
