About the opportunity

We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding Civil Construction Contractor & Developer who due to continued growth wish to appoint an Operations Manager into a pivotal leadership role.

This business has gone from startup to a major player in a handful of years, delivering complex infrastructure and large-scale development projects throughout Queensland.

They combine the agility of a smaller contractor with the systems, discipline, and delivery capability of a Tier 1 environment. You’ll be stepping into a role where you can win work, lead delivery, and build high-performing teams, all while working alongside highly regarded and driven founders.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams

• Overseeing projects from tender through to completion

• Driving program, cost, safety, and quality outcomes

• Building strong relationships with clients, councils, and key stakeholders

• Identifying opportunities for improved delivery and operational efficiency

• Playing a key role in business growth and future strategy

The type of leader we’re looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in civil construction project delivery

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)

• Proven Civil Construction leadership experience in QLD

• Strong commercial and operational acumen

• A natural relationship builder who can influence at all levels

• Someone who wants to increase their ownership, impact and growth
