About the role
 
As Head of Oil & Gas, you will lead and execute IOR’s Oil & Gas strategy end-to-end from upstream aggregation through to refining, logistics, and market delivery.
 
This is a hands-on, high-accountability leadership role focused on supporting existing and building new supply chains, unlocking stranded value, and integrating infrastructure across the business.
 
You will play a central role in:
  • Developing condensate and crude oil aggregation pathways
  • Integrating supply into refining and downstream markets
  • Building CNG and LNG solutions to unlock new demand
  • Shaping infrastructure, export, and domestic market access strategies
  • You’ll also act as IOR’s senior representative across the Oil & Gas sector, working closely with producers, partners, government, and regulators.
 
What you’ll be responsible for
  • Own and deliver IOR’s integrated Oil & Gas strategy across condensate, crude, gas, refining, and downstream energy
  • Build and scale aggregation, storage, and export pathways for liquids
  • Hold P&L accountability for the Eromanga Refinery - optimising feedstock, throughput, and margin
  • Lead development of virtual pipeline solutions and new energy applications
  • Drive commercial outcomes with key customers, partners, and producers
  • Represent IOR at a senior level across industry and government
