Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of civil engineering projects, ensuring our bids are competitive and reflective of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine cost factors.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Monitor and track project costs, and provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project costs and timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civil Estimator or in a similar role within the civil engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
