Future Projects for Olympic Games and growth 2030s
Third Terminal
Brisbane Airport is planning a third terminal to meet future population growth. Positioned between the two runways, Terminal 3 will seamlessly integrate with our current terminals, while also safeguarding options for connectivity to Brisbane’s transportation network. It will be built for the 2030s, providing an accessible, efficient, and inclusive passenger journey.
Aeromedical Facilities 2026
The 14,470m² multi-tenanted facility will be located between Brisbane Airport’s two runways at the Airport North Precinct and will accommodate the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS), LifeFlight and Queensland Health facilities. It will feature new patient transfer facilities, state-of-the-art hangars for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, administration areas, and a medical base for regional patient and donor transfers.

Tenancy Coordinator

Role Context
The Tenancy Coordinator will be assigned with multiple retail & commercial upgrades happening at BAC in relation to tenancy coordination.
They will act as the lead for the coordination of the design, approvals, construction and commissioning of tenant related works.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage Tenancy Coordination processes for retail and commercial tenants in accordance with BAC Guidelines and Lease Agreements.
- Maintain consistent and thorough communication with tenants, property, asset management and leasing ensuring that all parties are kept properly informed.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal BAC stakeholders, tenants, and their suppliers.
- Undertake proactive stakeholder management as a “Partner of Choice”.
- Investigate and assess documents from project sponsors, tenants, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Manage tenant consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with BAC Guidelines and Lease Agreement.
- Work with the tenant and/or tenants’ representative to ensure that the tenant meets the approved tenant milestones & tenant programme.
- Manage tenant contractor and consultant correspondence to ensure timing meets the tenant and any related project requirements.
- Maintain an accurate record of all tenant contractor and consultant correspondence and register in the nominated tenant folders.
- Update and track tenant milestones in the approved format ensuring key dates are effectively managed.
- Liaise as necessary with State and Local Authorities including the Airport Building Controller and Airport Environment Officer.
- Coordinate tenant works with any base build works, other interfacing projects, maintenance activities or tenant works.
- Provide safety leadership to the tenant’s project team and ensure that BAC’s safety systems are implemented throughout the tenant’s project.
- Inspect tenant works during construction to ensure compliance with all approved project and tenant documentation.
- Ensure that the tenant provides the required documentation to BAC and register in the nominated tenant folders.
- Maintain compliance to the BAC Project Management Framework where required.
- Prepare and manage documentation to a high professional standard.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal BAC stakeholders.
- Effectively brief and manage internal BAC stakeholders and external stakeholders on project related matters, as required.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting.
- Provide all required input to the leadership and management teams in a timely manner and to a high professional standard.
- Assist in the development and delivery of nominated actions from team or division action plans.
- Maintain compliance with all of BAC’s policies and procedures.
- Share knowledge with others in BAC and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
- Develop and establish a process to foster innovation on allocated projects.
Experience, Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes to achieve organisational objectives.
- Strong technical and risk management skills, with the ability to identify potential asset risks and direct mitigation strategies.
- Experience in leading a team and mentoring.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial principles including budgets and procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Subcontractors and consultants.
- High developed skills in managing contractual agreements, breaches and implications.

Naveed Hassan
Program Delivery Manager – Terminals & Aeronautical Infrastructure
Naveed is a great leader, he is clear, supportive and positive. He has a wealth of experience working with Asset Owners in Government and Aviation leading Project Development activities. Prior to his current role at Brisbane Airport Naveed held similar positions at Auckland Airport and with their City Council. He is a father of two who loves sport and spending his spare time with family outdoors in the beautiful Queensland weather.
