Supervisor – Building, Landscaping & Maintenance Works
Location
Various - SEQ travel required Gold Coast, Toowoomba and occasionally Hervey Bay
Salary
$100K – $115K + Super + Vehicle
The Role
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Supervisor to oversee a diverse pipeline of minor works projects across South East Queensland. This is a “get things done” role suited to someone who thrives in variety and enjoys being out on site managing multiple small projects.
Projects range from small bathroom fit-outs and renovations through to landscape construction and general maintenance works — no two weeks look the same.
Travel required across Gold Coast, Toowoomba and occasionally Hervey Bay.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend sites to scope upcoming works and gather detailed information for estimating
- Provide clear job details, quantities and requirements back to the estimating team
- Supervise works on site from start to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
- Manage quality control and site outcomes
- Problem-solve and keep jobs moving efficiently
- Maintain strong communication with clients, trades and internal teams
Ideal Supervisor
- Jack of all trades background across building, maintenance or landscaping
- Experience supervising minor works, renovations or construction projects
- Strong practical knowledge — understands how work actually gets built
- Confident managing subcontractors
- Organized and detail-oriented when scoping jobs
- Safety-focused with solid site awareness
- Self-starter who doesn’t need micromanagement
- Comfortable travelling across SEQ
