Senior Project Engineer
$170K + Super + Vehicle + Bonus

Are you a passionate Senior Project Engineer wanting a strong ownership across delivery on a major wastewater infrastructure project?
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for overseeing the integrated delivery of the SPS, Sewer Rising Main, and barometric loop works, ensuring alignment across multiple complex work fronts including deep excavation, pipeline installation, trenchless crossings, and M&E systems.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end infrastructure delivery: site establishment, earthworks, pipeline installation, structures and M&E works, testing and commissioning, and final handover documentation.
- Strong focus on safety (SWMS-driven), quality assurance (ITPs and as-builts), and compliance with Unitywater, WSAA, and Australian Standards,
- Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Company and our client’s procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframes
- Delivery is staged and highly coordinated, with specialist subcontractors engaged for trenchless works, PE welding, pressure testing, and electrical/control systems.
- The project operates in constrained and sensitive environments including residential areas, live roads, utilities, and waterways requiring detailed traffic management, environmental controls, and community engagement throughout construction.
- Prepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programs
- Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team
- Assist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring quality requirements are being met
- Programming and planning of the works
Who You Are
- Civil Engineering Degree or similar
- 2+ years’ experience as an engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and understand civil, structural and services drawings
- Manage and raise technical queries
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing
- Understanding of Quality Control Systems
- Excellent safety record from previous projects
